About this seat
i-Size seat used rear-facing only, from 67 to 105 cm (up to 18 kg), that rotates 180°. It clicks onto the Thule Alfi Connect ISOFIX base, sold separately. Approved in the Swedish Plus Test.
The Thule Elm Connect 180 is a rear-facing car seat approved under R129 (i-Size).
It installs with ISOFIX or an ISOFIX base, and it rotates to make getting the child in and out easier.
It passed the Swedish Plus Test. The Plus Test is a 56 km/h frontal crash test with strict limits on the forces on the child's neck, and only rear-facing seats pass it.
Associação Criança Segura recommends keeping children rear-facing for as long as possible, ideally up to 125 cm, and using a harness only when rear-facing.
