1. Data controller

Associação Criança Segura is the entity responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect and why

We only collect the data strictly needed for the platform to work:

Simulator: the filters you choose (such as seat type, weight or height) are used in your browser to show matching car seats. They are not saved on our servers.

Purchases and donations: to process payments and issue invoices or receipts, we collect your name, email address, postal address and tax identification number (NIF, in Portugal).

Members' area: your email and login details are stored so you can sign in securely to the video and lesson platform.

3. Sharing of data

Personal data is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. We only share the information strictly needed with essential technical partners, such as payment processors (partners for MB WAY, Multibanco references or credit cards) and web hosting services, which work under strict confidentiality agreements.

4. Data security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration or destruction. The website uses SSL certificates to encrypt all communications and transactions.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request:

• Access to your personal data;
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Erasure of your data (the right to be forgotten), except where we must keep it to meet legal and tax obligations;
• Data portability.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your experience, manage sessions in the members' area and analyse traffic.

When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you choose between "Accept all" and "Essential only". Analytics and marketing tools load only after you accept. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings.
